In a 1-1 week for the Brewers, Herzog averaged 10.5 points per game, 3.5 assists per game, and 3.0 rebounds per game. He had nine points and six assists in a win over CCNY and 12 points and five boards in a loss to Hamilton.

Herzog graduated from Greenwich High School in 2009 where he was a four-year letter winner in basketball. A three-time All-FCIAC member, Herzog was twice named the LaVista Christmas Tournament MVP. Herzog led his team in scoring, assists, and steals as a senior and was the league-leader in assists as a sophomore.
