Van Eerde, who captured the 2009 Liberty League Outdoor Track & Field Championship javelin title, successfully defended her title on Saturday at the 2010 event. Van Eerde bested eight opponents with a 34.71 meter toss, more than four meters better than RPI's second-place finisher Kirsten Orrell.
