In a 2-2 week for the Brewers, Perrone went 8-for-17 with one run, one RBI, and two stolen bases. In a 14-8 loss to Brockport, Perrone went 4-for-6 with two bunt singles.
Last year, Perrone had one of the best individual seasons in program history as he set Vassar's single season record for hits (66) and led the Brewers in nearly every offensive category: batting average (.434), at bats (152), runs (39), hits, triples (3), slugging percentage (.493), on base percentage (.485), and stolen bases (36). Perrone, who struck out just six times in 152 at bats, had at least one hit in all but six games and had multiple hits in 20 games, including three four-hit games and nine three-hit games. His electrifying play earned him a trifecta of accolades as the ECAC Upstate Division III Rookie of the Year, Liberty League Rookie of the Year, and an American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-New York Region Third Team selection.
