Matsuoka posted 20 points, a game high five assists, and a game high four steals in a 70-48 win over Hunter College last week. A 2010 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, she lettered three years in basketball and two years in volleyball. A three-time, First-Team Delta Valley Conference, Matsuoka led her team to four Delta Valley Conference Championships and two San Joaquin Sectional Championship. Also a three-time Sacramento Bee All-Metro Honorable Mention selection, she won the Coach’s Award as a sophomore, the Hustler Award as a junior, and her team’s MVP Award as a senior.
