Sophomore Nicholas Veazie had a strong showing in Vassar's opening loss to Skidmore as he won the 100 yard backstroke in 57.67 seconds and the 100 yard butterfly in 57.51. He finished second in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:05.53, behind Skidmore's Jesse Adler at 204:45.
