HENDERSON CAREER HISTORY
2022: Ran a personal record 2:27.29 to take third in the 800-meter at the Ramapo Invitational... At the Vassar College Invite... Won the 1,500-meter with a personal best time of 5:02.94 and was seventh in the 800-meter (2:27.92)... Placed eighth in the 1,500-meter at the Farley Invite (5:16.10)... Took ninth in the 800-meter (2:27.672) at the RPI Capital District Classic... Ran a 5:03.45 in the 1,500 at the Liberty League Championships to finish 10th overall.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Ran cross country and track at Spring Hill High School… Also a member of the swim team… Named captain of the cross country and track teams as a junior and senior… Helped cross country team to a region championship title in 2019 and 2020… Selected track team MVP in 2020 and 2021… Personal bests of 2:23.88 in the 800m and 5:27.12 in the 1600m.
PERSONAL: Parents are Andrea Weigel and Ted Henderson… Two siblings, Lauren and Karl… Decided on Vassar because it “offers a wonderful well rounded education, where I can be challenged in academics as well as athletics!”
