2014-15: Co-owner of the 200 medley relay (1:51.71) and 800 free relay (7:58.63) records set at the New York State Championships…swam team-best 1:02.72 in the 100 backstroke at the New York State Championships…swam a season best in the 200 free (2:00.75) and 500 freestyle (5:17.42) at the New York State Championships…swam a season best in the 100 fly (1:03.71) at the Skidmore Sprint Invitational…swam a personal best (5:02.73) in the 400 IM against New Paltz…Liberty League All-Academic Team.
2013-14: 2013-14 UNYSCSA All-Academic Team…co-owner of the 800 free (7:59.29) and 400 medley (4:04.29) relays…finished 19th in the 100 backstroke (1:01.77) during the UNYSCSA Championships with her time being a lifetime best…not normally a butterfly swimmer, finished second against NYU with a lifetime best in the 100 fly (1:02.98)…fourth place finish in the Seven Sisters Championships in the 200 back (2:18.59).
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Four year starter and letter earner in Swimming at University Laboratory High School...earned MVP award 2010, 2011 and 2012...qualified for states from 2008-2012.
PERSONAL: Parents Bill and Mildred Nelson...participates in Habitat for Humanity on campus...chose Vassar for the "great balance in athletics and education".
