2017-18: As senior captain led the team in and out of the water…finished 5^th in the 200 Y IM, 200 Y Breast and 100 Y Breast in the season opener vs. Brandeis…earned a season best 1:15.54 in the 100 Y Breast at the Don Richards Invitational, finishing 10^th…also swam a season best 2:29.88 in the 200 Y Back for a 7^th place finish against Mount Holyoke and Trinity…finished her career with three personal bests in the 200 Y Breast(2:38.41), the 200 Y IM (2:17.15) and the 400 Y IM (4:49.60), finishing 15^th, 16^th, and 11^th respectively, at the Liberty League Championships.

2016-17: started the season off with a win in the 50 Back (33.20) against Bard...maintained placing in the top five in dual meets against Skidmore and RPI...placed eighth in the USMMA Memorial Invitational in the 200 Breast with a 2:47.53...swam a 2:24.37 in the 200 IM at Liberty League Championships, placing twenty-fifth...ended the season strong with a win in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:14.66 at UNYSCSA Championships...named to Liberty League All-Academic Team.

2015-16: Swam a personal best in the 100 IM (1:12.63) in the Vassar Sprint Invitational...swam a personal best in the 50 Breast (37.37) at the Vassar Sprint Invitational...swam a personal best in the 200 Breast (2:40.51) at UNYSCSA/Empire 8 Championships...earned Liberty League All-Academic Honors

2014-15: Swam a personal best in the 100 free (1:00.78) and 200 free (2:09.56) against Skidmore College…swam a personal best in the 500 free (5:48.99) against RPI…swam a personal best in the 100 back (1:06:51) at New York State Championships…swam a personal best in the 200 back (2:33:56) against New Paltz…swam a personal best in the 200 IM (2:19.92) at New York State Championships…swam a personal best in the 400 IM (4:54.41) at New York State Championships. 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Started four years and captained one in swimming at Carrboro High School...was member of North Carolina States Swimming Team each year...made top eight at state championships...French National Honors Society Vice President as a junior, and President as a senior.

PERSONAL: Parents are Chris and Meg McDaniels...siblings are Andrew (20), Claire (12), and Lucy (11)...likes Vassar's beautiful campus, academic focus, and athletics department...chose Vassar over Georgetown.
