Alexia Clonda comes to Vassar with over 35 years of experience in the Squash Industry throughout the world, including Australia and other countries internationally. Clonda holds Levels 1, 2 and 3 Coaching Certifications as well as being a World Squash Federation Level 1 Coaching Certification Tutor/Instructor.
As an athlete, Alexia is an Australian and British Junior Under 19 Champion and held the No 1 Junior World ranking. Clonda has represented Australia at both Junior and Senior levels, reaching a career high of World no 5, semi-finalist World and Australian Opens, quarterfinalist British Open. Alexia's impressive track record in the Squash Industry has earned her numerous accolades, including the 2000 Australian Sports Medal for services to Squash. An elite athlete, Clonda achieved despite life threatening asthma and many other health issues.
