2015 Liberty League Second-Team All League

2015: Liberty League Second-Team...Captained the team this season…started in all 18 games…second on the team in goals (5) and points (11)…had the game-winner vs. Manhattanville (9/19)…scored game winner against Wesleyan (10/6)…tallied an assist on game-winning goal vs. Western Connecticut (9/8)…averaged two shots a game…scored goals in back-to-back games vs. Bard (10/29) and Union (10/31).

2014: Appeared in all 17 games, making 15 starts…tallied two goals and two assists on the season…notched an assist against Wesleyan (9/10)…tallied first goal of the year against Manhattanville (9/20)…delivered game-winning goal against St. Lawrence (10/18)…recorded an assist against Bard (10/28)…15 of 35 shots were on goal. 

2013: Started all 19 games this season...had three assists and three goals, one of which was the game winning goal against Manhattanville on 9/21...out of her 39 shots, 14 were on goal.

2012: Played and started in 15 matches...tied for second on the team with nine points...scored three goals and led Vassar with three assists.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Named All-Continental League her senior year at Heritage High School...Second Team All-State 2011...team captain her senior year...played every regular season and post-season game sophomore year...lettered three years in soccer and two years in cross country...made First Team All-Region in cross country along with an Honorable Mention for All-Conference...27th place runner at the state competition and eighth at Regionals.

PERSONAL: Parents are Steve and Betsy Brainerd...has an older brother Jackson and older sister is Emma...environmental studies major...lab assistant in the biology department...student athletic training assistant...picked Vassar because, "I wanted rigorous academics and it's impossible to pass-up those soccer fields."
