Monnier enters her second season on the Vassar College women's soccer staff in 2014 after spending the spring semester as the Interim Head Coach. In her first season, she helped the Brewers earn a spot in the Liberty League playoffs with a 2-1 overtime win over Union College. The playoff berth was Vassar's first since 2010. Monnier and the Brewers finished the 2013 season with a record of 9-8-2 and 4-3-1 in Liberty League play.

Monnier held multiple roles for SUNY Cortland. Starting in March 2012, she held positions as an Athletics Leadership Retreat Staff, Athletics Event Staff, Assistant Director for Summer Sports Camps, as well and as an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach.

As a coach, Monnier was responsible for goalkeeper training, recruiting and arranging travel for the team. During and after the Red Dragons' successful 12-5-6 season in 2012, she helped recruit 12 players, including three goalkeepers for the upcoming 2013 campaign.

A 2011 graduate with a bachelors in Physical Education and a 2013 graduate of Cortland with a masters of teaching in health education, Monnier has also spent time as a One Plus Goalkeeping Academy coach. In fact, most of her time as a graduate student was spent helping SUNY Cortland athletics.

As a player for the Red Dragons, Monnier enjoyed a stellar career that spanned four seasons as a starter. She started 79 out of her 81 game appearances, seeing action in all but one of the 82 contests played over her tenure at SUNY Cortland. With a final career record of 43-23-14, Monnier had 31 shutouts (11 in her senior year), 64 goals allowed (14 in her sophomore year) and 314 saves (85 in her freshman year with back-to-back 83-save seasons her junior and senior years). Her career saves were and still are the school's top spot in the history books.

Monnier was a four-time First Team All-SUNYAC Selection (first in Cortland women's soccer history), a two-time NSCAA All-East Region Second Team selection, two-time All-ECAC First Team selection, 2011 SUNYAC Player of the Year, 2011 ECAC Upstate New York Defensive Player of the Year and the SUNY Cortland M. Louise Moseley Award for Leadership and Athletic Achievement.
