LOW ROUND: 74 at Jack Leaman Invitational, April 19, 2014

2013-14: Mentel was one of three players that played in all eight tournaments in 2013-14...was second on the team in scoring average with an 87.9...scored in 23 rounds this season, leading the team...set the school-record for a single round with a 74, carding the round in day one of the Jack Leaman Invitational...the low round was the only round of the season for any Brewer that was at or below even-par...finished with four top 20s in 2013-14...Mentel carded a low two-day total of 168 at the the Leaman Invitational...was 14th at the Liberty League Championships. 

2012-13: Was one of only two players, along with Aimee Dubois to play all nine invitationals that Vassar participated in...started her career with an 83-92 for 175 at the NYU Invitational...had a banner weekend at the Ann S. Batchelder Invitational, shooting an 85 and an 82 to finish 13th out of 40 golfers with a total of 167...earned 20th out of 55 competitiors at the Vassar Invitational, chalking up a 170 (87-83)...posted six rounds of 85 or less...was 19th overall out of 50 golfers at the Middlebury Fall Invitational, carding a 182 (88-94) on the weekend. 

Prior to Vassar: Was a four-year standout for the Unicorns of Columbus School for Girls...was a two-year captain for head coach Shawn Withem...was named first-team All-Mid Ohio Girls Golf League all four years...earned MOGGL Player of the Year honors in 2011...made an appearance in the state championships in 2008...team MVP in 2011 and 2012...was a McCloud Award and Vassar Award honoree at CSFG...honor Council member 2009-2012.

Personal: Daugther of Michael and Marisa Mentel...has one brother, Connor (18)...majoring in Italian and Political Science...chose Vassar College over Dartmouth College and Saint Mary's (IN)...participates in the Vassar Catholic Community as treasurer...member of Vassar Democrats.
