PRIOR TO VASSAR: Ran cross country and track at Spring Hill High School… Also a member of the swim team… Named captain of the cross country and track teams as a junior and senior… Helped cross country team to a region championship title in 2019 and 2020… Selected track team MVP in 2020 and 2021… Personal bests of 2:23.88 in the 800m and 5:27.12 in the 1600m.
PERSONAL: Parents are Andrea Weigel and Ted Henderson… Two siblings, Lauren and Karl… Decided on Vassar because it “offers a wonderful well rounded education, where I can be challenged in academics as well as athletics!”
