2017-18
XC:
Raced five races for VC this season...placed in the top 11 for Vassar in each race...raced her highest place on the team at the Ron Stonitsch Invitational where she took eighth for the squad, crossing the line in 20:35.5, beating her previous time on the course by 25 seconds...finished eighth again for the Brewers at the Seven Sisters Championship meet to take 15th place overall...clocked her season best time at the Liberty League Championships, running 24:44.8 to beat 80 runners in the process...finished her season at the ECAC Championship meet where she raced third for VC's second seven where she placed 5th overall on the tough course...her performance at this meet propelled VC to win the ECAC title. 

2016-2017
XC: 
The freshman standout had an impressive debut, earning the team’s rookie of the year honor...finished in the top six in every race run...took sixth for VC in her first race wearing the burgundy and grey...had her breakout race the week after at the Rowan Invite, clocking a 23:55.23 to take tenth overall and 3rd for Vassar in her first ever 6k...had a strong finish at the Saratoga Invite to earn a 5k personal best of 19:15.1...took almost a minute off her 6k personal record at the Seven Sisters Championship Meet to take second for the Brewers, picking up a spot on the All Seven Sisters Second Team...finished her season on a high note, securing a personal best of 22:48 to place 77th in the region.
Track: Did not compete during the 2017 track and field season due to injury.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Competed in varsity cross country and track for the Rebels of South Burlington...was a captain of the cross country squad as a junior and senior, also holding the title during indoor and outdoor track those seasons...was named Most Improved Runner as a sophomore during cross country and track, picking up MVP honors as a junior and senior at SBHS...posted personal bests of 4:57.00 in the 1500m, 19:49 for the 5k, 1:04 in the 400m and 2:26 in the 800m...High Honor Roll every semester at South Burlington...Excellence in Literature...Magna Cum Laude...National Honor Society member...part of Peer Leadership as well.

PERSONAL: Parents Kimberly and Kevin Cook...has one sister, Katherine, who competes in track and cross country at Bates College...Anthropology major...applied to VC early decision after looking at Bowdoin, Bates, Wesleyan and the University of Vermont.
