2017-2018 Liberty League All Academic Team

2018-19: Season was cut short due to injury… Played and started the first three games… Averaged six points and 5.7 rebounds… Had nine points, six rebounds and one block at Marymount on Nov. 17.
 
2017-18: Liberty League All-Academic Team… Continued her career as a Brewer, proving again to be a major threat for the team… Sussman played in all 27 games, starting in 24 of them… totaled 577 minutes on the court… averaged 3.9 points per game and totaled 104 points on the season… second on the team in total blocks (6)… second on the team in steals (21)… fifth on the team in defensive rebounds (59)… fifth on the team in field goal percentage (0.394) out of anyone with at least 50 field goal attempts… scored her season high 13 points, two blocks, two assists, and two rebounds against St. Lawrence University (2/20/18)… matched her season high five assists, along with seven rebounds and two points against Union College (2/3/18)…

2016-2017: Sussman followed up her promising freshman campaign with an excellent and essential sophomore showing. The pride of Needham, Massachusetts finished the season as one of three Brewers who started in all 25 games. Across the board, Sussman’s laudable work ethic showed through – she finished off the season with improved averages in every major statistical category. Sussman was a strong contributor on all fronts: sixth on the team in points (119), second in blocks (11), third in steals (23), second in assists (66), and fourth in rebounds (88). In short, Sussman’s play – particularly on the defensive end – helped push the Brewers to the brink of the playoffs. She scored a career-high 15 points on 7-9 shooting against Morrisville St. and matched that effort with another stellar display of scoring prowess against St. Lawrence on 6-7 shooting. Perhaps Sussman’s efforts were best exemplified against Rensselaer – despite a quiet shooting performance, she dished out five assists and pulled down a career-high nine rebounds in a crucial win.

2015-16:Sussman had a strong first season for the Brewers playing in all 25 games and averaged 12.4 minutes with 310 minutes for the season. She averaged 1.7 points a game and scored 42 on the season. Against Salem State (12/29/16), Sussman recorded a career- high 7 points grabbed a career-high 5. Sussman played 21 minutes against Bard College (02/17/16) with 2 points and a career high 2 steals.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Earned team Most Valuble Player as a senior for the Rockets of Needham High School...also played volleyball at NHS...earned All-Bay State honoree...also a team captain...played for the AAU Massachusetts Huskies.

PERSONAL: Parents Kathleen and Steven Sussman...has four siblings, Sam (24), Harriet (21), Tess (15) and Cole (13)...pre-med major.
