2015-16: Liberty League All-Academic...O’Connell played a total of 15 games and started 9 of them averaging a total of 20.3 minutes per game and 305 in total. O’ Connell averaged 6.5 points per game, with a field goal percentage of 52% and a three point percentage of 44%. O’Connell also had an impressive free throw percentage of 80%.  Against Union College (01/16/16), O’Connell played a season- high 31 minutes and recorded a season- high 19 points.  Against RIT (01/22/16), O’Connell recorded a season high 8 defensive rebounds playing a total of 29 minutes.

2014-15: O'Connell returned to action after being out the previous season due to injury, and was productive before missing the final six games of the year for precautionary reasons...posted 8.9 points and 7.8 rebounds as a junior...led the team in rebounds per game, and was ninth in the conference in rebounding...played 28.9 minutes per game during the season, a career-high for minutes played per game...shot 85.3 percent from the free throw line, a career-best...posted 11 games in double-figures, while chalking up a team-best five double-doubles on the season...started all 19 games before being shut down...posted a season-high 16 points to go with 10 rebounds at Union Jan. 2...scored 15 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in a home loss to Stevens Dec. 6...corralled a season-high 13 rebounds against both Mt. Saint Mary (Dec. 2) and at Skidmore (Jan. 3)...was 6-of-19 from downtown as a junior, as her 31.6 percent from deep was second-best on the team...team captain as a junior...returns for her final season in 2015-16.

2013-2014: Suffered a season-ending leg injury weeks before the season's first practice, but was hugely important to Vassar's record-setting season in 2013-14...was there for every games for the Brewers, helping by serving as a student assistant...attitude and dedication to the Brewer squad was irreplacable..will be back as a junior in 2014-15 to lead the way for VC. 

2012-2013: Played and started in all 26 games…averaged 11.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game…scored a career-high 26 points, and shot 86.7% from the field against Bard…contributed 24 points, and pulled down 11 rebounds against St. Lawrence University…scored 11 points, and recorded a season-high 15 rebounds against Widener…scored in double figures in 15 games, and pulled down at least 10 rebounds in nine contests, recording seven double-doubles…shot 42.4% from the field, and 82% from the free-throw line on the season.
 
2011-2012: As a freshman, played in all 28 games…started in 15 games…averaged 8.1 points and 9.5 rebounds per game…in her first collegiate game, scored 13 points against Mount St. Vincent…contributed a season-high 14 points against Kean University…scored 10 points, and pulled down a career-best 21 rebounds against William Smith…scored in double figures in 13 games, and had at least 10 rebounds in 13 games, recording nine double-doubles…shot 48.7% from the field, and 72.4% from the free-throw line on the season.

Prior to Vassar: Lettered three years at Immaculate Heart Academy for coach Steve Silver... helped team to three consecutive League Championships... selected Third Team All-County as a senior... named captain as a senior.

Personal: Parents are Kevin and Lori O'Connell...has one brother, Sean (18) chose Vassar over Williams College...co-president of Vassar's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee...majors in neuroscience and behavior...president of SAAC.
