Carolyn Crampton

Carolyn Crampton joined the Vassar College women's basketball staff in the summer of 2014.

The 2011 graduate of Vassar College comes back to Poughkeepsie after serving as a head coach at Reading Memorial High School in Reading, Massachusetts. While at Reading, she was the head mentor of the junior varsity squad, while serving as a top assistant to the varsity team. Crampton was also a head coach of the freshmen girls’ squad during her tenure at RMHS.

Crampton also was a coach for the 15U Evolution Basketball squad, a role she has held in Stoneham, Massachusetts since 2012. Crampton’s ability to break down opposing video and also her understanding of Vassar College made her a perfect fit for the position.

During her time as a Brewer from 2007-11, Crampton played in 99 games, starting 88 times, while averaging 4.0 points per game. She is sixth all-time in games played at the College, and is sixth in assists with 229 helpers handed out.
