Vassar College Athletics

2023: The senior outside hitter skipped his junior year to study engineering at Dartmouth for a Vassar-Dartmouth Dual Degree Program. Harrington observed a reserve role in his senior campaign playing in 7 matches and 11 sets. In the 11 sets, Harrington was able to score 26 points good for 2.36 points per set. Best match of the season was against Ramapo (4/8) on senior day where he recorded 12 kills, 2 aces, 3 blocks, and 4 digs. 

2021: The sophomore outside hitter played 26 sets, logging 31 kills and 42 points... Averaging 1.62 points and 1.19 kills per set, he was a solid hitter for the Brewers... The same was true on defense. He had 22 digs and 14 blocks with a season highs of six digs and four blocks in the same game against New Paltz. 

2020: Appeared in 35 sets over 17 matches and started twice… Finished the season with 33 kills, three aces, 39 digs, and 5.0 total blocks… Opened the season with five kills against UC San Diego (1/15)… Knocked in a career-high 8 kills against Cal Lutheran (1/17)… Recorded a season-best eight digs against Elms (2/15).

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered four years in volleyball at Canyon Crest Academy...was team captain and MVP both his junior and senior years...received First Team All Avocado West League his junior and senior years…on the Union Tribune All Academic Team his junior and senior years.

PERSONAL: Son of John and Athena...has two siblings, Angela and Christina...plans to double major in computer science and biochemistry...chose Vassar because of the incredible academic opportunities and the ability to play for the men’s volleyball program.
