2024: AVCA First Team All-American....AVCA North All-Region....UVC Player of the Year...UVC First Team....Played in 99 sets over 28 matches....Sixth player in program history to reach 2,000 career assists...Second on the team in kills with 273 while hitting .302....Tallied career-best 33 service aces....Lifted 117 digs....Handed out 450 assists....Garnered a career-high 59 total blocks....Collected 342 total points.....3.45 points per set....2.76 kills per set....1.18 digs per set....Recorded career-high 17 kills and 10 digs against #16 Hobart (2/24)....Notched 16 kills against #7 Springfield (2/2)....Notched 12 kills, 23 assists and a career-best 11 digs against #7 NYU in the National Semifinals (4/26).....Recorded 15 kills, 29 assists, four digs, an ace and a block in the National Quarterfinals against #3 Wentworth (4/20)

2023: The junior cemented himself as one of the top setters in all of Division III. Jacob Kim played in 23 matches and 75 sets where he dished 768 assists good for 10.24 assists per set and led his team to have a hitting percentage of 0.357 good for number one in the country despite the Brewers' tough schedule. In addition to that, the Brewers also boast the most assists per set at 12.28 which Kim accounts for the most. On the defensive side, he stuffed 54 balls for points and had 119 digs good for 1.59 digs per set all good for third on the team. His best game of the season was against Stevens Institute of Technology (4/6) dishing 55 assists in a thrilling 5 set match against the number one Ducks at the time. 

2022: The sophomore setter blossomed in his starting role this year, playing in all 24 matches with 80 sets played. Kim scored 70 points on 32 kills and 18 service aces, but his biggest contribution was 804 assists good for 10.05 assists per set. This assist per set number is not only good for first in the UVC, but sixth in the NCAA. In addition to having a great assist per set number, he led the Vassar Brewers to the best hitting percentage in the conference with a 30.2 good for seventh in the NCAA. His best game in the season came against St John Fisher (3/4) with 48 assists for a new career high and seven digs.

2021: The freshman setter had a solid debut season, playing 29 total sets...  second on the team in assists with 157 total and 5.41 per set... logged five blocks and 33 digs... On offense, he contributed 17 kills and 24 points... scored career highs in kills, assists, points, and aces against Hiram, with an impressive 31 assists in the game. 
 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Played volleyball at Amador Valley High School…  Named First Team All-EBAL in 2018 and 2019… Helped team to NCS Championship titles in 2017 and 2019… EBAL Champions in 2017 and 2018… 2018 Nor Cal Division 2 Champions… Was a Tri-Valley Athlete of the Week in 2019.
 
PERSONAL: Parents are Sara and Chris… One sibling in Justin who plays volleyball at Illinois Tech… Chose Vassar because “of the incredible team environment and high academic reputation of the school.”
