Terry Hanlon joined the Brewers coaching staff in 2012 as the team's volunteer assistant coach. Hanlon was in born in New Jersey, raised in the suburbs of Chicago and has been a part of various levels of volleyball for the past 11 years.
"We are very excited to have Terry joining the Brewer family," said head coach Rob Wolter. "Terry shares a vision for the volleyball culture we are trying to establish here at Vassar. With his ability to teach technique and his creative mind for the game, there is no doubt that Terry will help in the process of building a nationally competitive volleyball program. Terry is someone who also believes in a holistic approach to the development of our student athletes, which correlates with my philosophy in creating great athletes that will succeed in doing great things long after they graduate from our program."
Hanlon currently serves as a House Advisor for Cushing and Noyes House, where he oversee and manages two dormitories and advises student leadership of each house and Assistant Director for Residential Wellness Programs where he works collaboratively with Campus Activities, Athletics, Religious and Spiritual Life, and Health Education to bring more programs to the residence halls to promote the well-being of the mind, body, and spirit.
Hanlon received his Bachelors of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Marketing, Management, and Legal Studies in 2009 and his Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Boston College in 2011.
