2016 Liberty League All-Academic Team

2019: Competed in seven meets as a senior… Placed 15^th at the Liberty League Championships in the 10,000m (33:10.07) … Personal record of 32:38.47 in the 10k set at the Silfen Invite (4/12)… Recorded a personal best 9:23.80 in the 3,000m at the Stockton Invite (3/23).
 
2015-16:
XC: Had a strong first season for Vassar...was the fourth Brewer to come through the finish line at the New Paltz Season Opener...ran his personal best 6k of 21:30 at the Saratoga Invitational...ran 9th for the Brewers with a time of 27:37 at the Geneseo Invitational...finished the season on his home course from high school as the third VC runner at the ECAC Championships.
Track: Ran second for Vassar in the 800 at the Ramapo Invitational with a personal best of 2:15.79...narrowly missed scoring for the Brewers at the Liberty League Championship, finishing ninth in the 5000m with a time of 16:09.76...set personal bests in the 1500m (4:23.91) and the 5000m (15:58.97) in the last two meets of the season.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Played three sports for the Mounties of Mount Greylock...lettered in cross country, track and alpine skiing...captain of the cross country squad as a senior...voted Most Improved Runner as a sophomore...earned All-Berkshire three times...earned All-Western Massachusetts for cross country as a sophomore, junior and senior...also picked up All-Berkshire as a track runner as a senior...earned fourth place at the state meet...helped his team to three Western Massachusetts titles...class vice president...earned the Top Scholar award. 

PERSONAL: Parents are Laura and Troy Kobrin...has two brothers, Jake (18) and Ben (22)...brother Jake also runs at Vassar...majoring in economics.
