2015-16:
XC: Freedman's successful track season set up this XC season well...began the season with a 6th place finish for the Brewers at the Satatoga Invitational to run his 6k personal best time of 20:33...improved upon this place to run 5th for VC at Geneseo...earned his 8k person best at Conn College to beat almost 200 runners with a time of 27:23...finished his season at the ECAC Championships to run 2nd for the Brewers with 28:09 on the clock.
Track: Freedman carried the momentum from his XC campaign to the spring...finished in the top 13 in both the 800 and the 1500 in the Willie Williams Classic to begin the season with times of 2:01.56 and 4:06.11...improved on his 1500 meter to finish 5th overall at the Liberty league championships...set a personal best of 4:00.04 at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier...ran the 5000m for the first time in the Monmouth Season Opener, finishing 7th overall...helped lead the Brewer 4x800m relay to a 2nd place finish at the Ramapo Invitational.

2014-15:
XC: Returned from injury to place fifth for Vassar at the Liberty League Championship...placed seventh for Vassar at the Regional Championship.
Track: Had a solid season for the Brewers on the track, rounding into form later into the season...set a personal-best in the 1500m run at the Matthew Vassar Twilight Meet, as he won the event with a 4:06.20...helped Vassar's 4x800 meter relay to a win at the Yale Springtime Invitational, running a 8:06.91...at the ECAC Championships, was part of the 4x8 relay squad that set the school record with a 7:49.70...helped Vassar's 4x400 meter relay team to a second-place finish at the Matthew Vassar Twilight, as the team ran a 3:37.84. 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a three-year standout for the Tigers of Newton North High School...competed in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field...was named an Emerging Elite All-American in the 4x800 in 2013...named Bay State Conference All-Star in cross country in 2012 and 2013...also earned conference accolades in track in 2013...was a team captain in cross country for head coach Jim Blackburn in 2013. 

PERSONAL: Parents are Ed and Kim Freedman...has one sibling, Seth (16)...majoring in biology...chose Vassar College over Wesleyan University.
