2021-22: Had a solid sophomore campaign with strong efforts throughout the season … Swam in five events at the 2022 Liberty League Championship … Finished 18th overall in a personal-best time of 2:15.89 in the 200-breaststroke … Was 23rd in the 100-breaststroke with a mark of 1:02.62 … Helped the 200-free relay take 19th overall in 1:29.48 … Member of the 200-medley relay team that was 20th overall in 1:39.62 … Part of the 800-free relay team that was 21st in a time of 7:29.40 …

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Member of his high school’s varsity swim team... captain of the team his junior and senior years... earned All-League Honors all four years... state qualifier his senior year... helped his team to a League title in 2017 and 2019... personal bests include 50 freestyle (23.78), 100 freestyle (51.04), 100 breaststroke (1:02.67), and 200 breastroke (2:19.90) ...

PERSONAL: Child of Lihui Lai and Hanbin Wang... has one older sibling, Hanbin Wang Jr.,... chose Vassar for the balance between academics and athletics, beautiful campus, and vast array of both humanities and science courses.
