Biography
2017-18: Belanger proved to be versatile, competing in nine events for VC in 2017-2018… Saw the most action in the 200 Free, swimming a season best at the LL Championships (1:53.09) in a relay… LL Championships were a spectacular finish to the season for Belanger, posting six PR’s… Improved a personal record five times in the 500 Free, topping at 5:08.68 at the LL Championships… Finished 12th in the 200 Back at the LL Championships (2:10.50)… Highest finish was 2nd place in 500 Free at dual meet with Montclair (5:28.68).
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Valedictorian at Hamilton High School...was a member of the cross country and swim team for the Broncs...also captain of the Bitterroot Swim Team, which earned Montana state titles from 2012 through 2016.
PERSONAL: Parents Dulcie and Paul Belanger...chose Vassar "because I was excited about the opportunities and experiences it could offer me. Also, Vassar provided me with the best financial aid."
