2016-17: Played in eighteen matches going 1-17…played anywhere from the two position to the four position for the Brewer…picked up a win against University of Vermont (1/28/17), playing at the four position…earned Liberty League All-Academic honors.

2015-16: Went 2-13 in 15 matches, playing anywhere from No.5 to No.7...picked up a  win against Leslie Cotrina of #56 Siena College at the No.7 position, winning in three sets...picked up his second win against Kevin Mickan of Notre Dame at the No. 5 position, winning in three sets...finished the season with Liberty League All-Academic honors.

2014-15: Finished 10 matches for the Brewers in 2014-15 as a sophomore, going 4-6 on the season...played contests at No. 6, 8 and 9 for Vassar...went 2-1 at No. 9 as a sophomore...earned his first win of the seaon against Carly Scher of the VC women's squad in five sets...won three straight towards the end of the season...posted a clutch five set win over Sat Srikrishnan at Bard with scores of 4-11, 6-11, 11-9, 11-5 and 11-8. 

2013-14: Played four games at No. 9 in his first season at Vassar after playing tennis in high school...Ended with an even 2-2 record...Won first game at Vassar against Bard College's Yvie Yao in three sets.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Played tennis for the Wyverns of Kingswood Oxford ... was the yearbook editor ... also participated in Model UN ... president of the Investment Club.

PERSONAL: Parents are Joseph and Debra Hammer ... has one sister, Elizabeth (16) ... plans to major in economics.
