2018 Stats

2018: Appeared in two games in net for the Brewers… Played five minutes against Swarthmore and eight minutes against Bard… Logged 14 minutes while making two saves with a .667 save percentage.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a four-year member of the varsity lacrosse team at Pingry. Graduated as the winningest goalie in school history (43) and had the most games played (84) in which he did consecutively, never missing a start. Finished with 472 career saves. He was named to the All-State First Team Underclassmen and an All-County Honorable Mention. The Big Blue won three consecutive Non-Public “B” State Championship, were a two-time Somerset County Finalist, a three-time Tournament of Champions Semifinalist, and a finalist once. Metzger was also a member of the Israel FIL U19 World Championships Team. Ran Winter Track for one season and was named to the Honor Roll all four years.
 
 
PERSONAL:  Son of Amy and Howard… Has two siblings Josh and Adam… Major is Economics… Chose Vassar over Delaware, Quinnipiac, Boston U., Kenyon, Swarthmore, and Hamilton.
