Michael Mullen joined the Vassar men’s lacrosse staff as an assistant in the fall of 2021.
Currently, Mullen serves as Fund Accountant at SEI. He previously served as a data management and events intern at Inside Lacrosse in the summer of 2021.
During his four-year career on the men’s lacrosse team at Vassar, Mullen was a two-time captain, earning USILA Division III Scholar All-America recognition as a senior. An All-Liberty League Second Team honoree during his junior season, Mullen scored 100 career goals with 41 assists for 141 points. He is one of only two players in program history to record 100 goals, and currently ranks second overall in the program record books in that category, as well as career man-up goals (16).
Additionally, Mullen ranks third all-time in shots (275) and shots on goal (175), fourth in career points and ninth in assists. His 2019 season was a breakout one as he scored 40 goals and 52 points, both of which rank second all-time in a season, while his eight man-up goals are tied for first in a season.
In addition to earning Liberty League All-Academic Team honors, Mullen was also a member of the Vassar Men’s Lacrosse Leadership Council.
Mullen has served as a private instructor and counselor for a number of lacrosse organizations, including Camp Starlight during the summer of 2019.
A 2020 graduate of Vassar with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, Mullen is currently pursuing is Master’s in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
