2019 Liberty League All-Academic

2019: Played in 13 games his senior season… Dished out three assists… Grabbed 14 groundballs and caused five turnovers.
 
2018: Appeared in all 14 games as a junior… From the midfield, he scooped up 12 groundballs and caused one turnover.

2017: Had a very strong sophomore season for Vassar, missing a little time due to injuries at the end of the season...got into 15 of the 16 games for the Brewers at the short-stick midfield spot...posted a pair of assists as a sophomore, adding 15 ground balls and nine caused turnovers...had three ground balls in the program's first ever win over RPI April 1...chalked up two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a loss at Skidmore College...caused a pair of turnovers in a 10-8 win over Colby College on March 21...finished the regular season with two ground balls and a caused turnover in a 20-10 win over Union College to help clinch VC's first playoff appearance...had one ground ball and one caused turnover in VC's spring break win over Salve Regina. 

2016: Missed majority of the season due to injury...played in five games during his first season as a Brewer...grabbed four ground balls...two ground balls earned against St. Lawrence on April 16...one ground ball grabbed against Bard in the Brewers final win of the season.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Played for the Garden City varsity lacrosse team for two years... Also played three years of varsity soccer and three years of varsity track for the Trojans... Was awarded all-conference three years in the 300 meter and once in 4x400 meter relay...and Scholar athlete his senior soccer season...was also a member of the German and National Honor Society

PERSONAL: Parents are Nicole Nolan Brown and John Koester...majors in economics and German Studies...chose Vassar because of VC's coaching staff and great academics.
