Vassar College Athletics

2017: The senior defenseman played all 16 games this season and started four of them…picked up 18 ground balls and caused 10 turnovers… finished fifth on the team for caused turnovers… had his best performance this season against Union College on April 29 where he picked up five ground balls and forced two turnovers, helping his team defeat Union for the first time in history.

2016: Appeared in all 16 games and started in 15...third on the team in ground balls with 32...tied for second in the team in caused turnovers with 12...earned two assists...caused four turnovers and earned four ground balls against Swarthmore on March 5th...grabbed three ground balls and forced three turnovers on March 9th against Connecticut College...grabbed four ground balls against Mount Saint Mary on March 23...grabbed three ground balls and caused one turnover in Vassar's final win against Bard.

2015: Started in all 15 games played…grabbed 23 ground balls and caused 14 turnovers…tallied season-high four groundballs and four caused turnovers in win over Western Connecticut (3/12)…notched an assist and scooped three ground balls against Skidmore (3/28)…picked up three groundballs and caused a turnover vs. Clarkson (4/25). 

2014: Started in eight of his nine appearances...recorded one assist...caused 10 turnovers and grabbed 15 ground balls.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Started and lettered all four years in lacrosse and football at John F. Kennedy High School...captain of both teams...two-time Academic All-Conference...two-time Lineman of the Year for football...National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Parents are Doug and Ilene Klein...younger sister is Samantha (17)...majoring in economics..picked Vassar over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Colby, Bates and Babson...Chose Vassar because of the "great academic opportunity and [Coach Marc Graham] was the best coach I talked to."
