Biography
2018-19: Completed his senior season with a 43-25 foil record… Went 20-1 at the Nov. 18 Matt Lampell Invite… Recorded a 3-0 victory against Tufts on Jan. 26… Went 9-1 at the Northeast Conference Multi-Meet on Feb. 9 with wins over UMass (2-0), Boston University (3-0) and New Hampshire (3-0).
2017-18: Skolnick ended a solid junior season with a 31-33 record fencing foil… opened the season with six wins in the Vassar Invitational… posted 13 wins in the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invite, with 3-0 wins over RPI and Drew… posted six wins in a multi-meet on February 10
th.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was captain of his fencing team as a senior at Ward Melville High School..helped his team to a Long Island and County title during his sophomore, junior and senior campaigns...earned Scholar-Athlete honors...selected for departmental awards in AP BC Calculus and InSTAR.
PERSONAL: Majoring in phyics...chose Vassar over Stony Brook, UNC, Binghamton, Brandeis, Ohio State, Lafayette and SUNY Geneseo.
