Biography
2017-18: Swerzenski contributed to the Brewer’s success with a 47-36 record in epee his senior season… opened the season with 12 wins in the Vassar Invitational… posted 11 wins in the the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invitational, going 3-0 against Rochester… went 3-0 against MIT on January 28
th… posted 7 wins on February 10
th… went 39
th overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional.
2014-15: Started his first career at Vassar with a 7W-4L overall season record...went 1W-0L at the VC Fencing Challenge Jan. 18...saw his season best performance 4W-0L at the Dartmouth Invitational Feb. 7 where he kept opponents from UNH, BU, and Umass all to zero.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Comes to Vassar College with an "E" rating in epee...qualified for the New Jersey High School Individual State Epee Championships as a senior...was a four-year letter winner and two-year captain for the Bulldogs of Butler High School...also was a middle blocker on the volleyball squad at BHS.
PERSONAL: Son of Tom and Lisa Swerzenski...has two siblings, David (21) and Kristen (19).
