Biography
2021-22: As a squad leader, finished up with a win ratio of 20-19 in foil… Went 5-5 at the Vassar Invitational, including a win over Yeshiva (1-0), West Point (2-1), and Denison (2-1)… Went 9-5 at the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invite, with a victory against Marist (3-0), RPI (2-1), and RIT (2-1)… Went 4-1 at the Northeast Conference Multimeet #3, beating Tufts (1-0), BU (1-0), and U Mass (2-0).
2020-21: Season canceled due to COVID-19 ...
2019-20: Finished the season going 35-26 in foil… Had a strong performance at the Drew Invitational, going 13-8 and winning against Clemson (3-0), Yeshiva (3-0), and Florida (3-0)… Went 7-1 on Jan. 19 against Detroit-Mercy and Drew… Went 2-1 at the Northeast Conference Multi-Meet #3 with a 2-0 mark against Tufts.
2018-19: In his first season went 13-29 in foil and 4-1 at sabre… Went 9-10 at the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invite on Nov. 18… In sabre, was 1-0 against Brandeis and 3-0 over Rhode Island.
PERSONAL: Parents are Kevin and Amy Gaffney... "I felt that Vassar college was the best fit for me because of it's small size, close-knit community, excellent academics, and the individual attention afforded to students."
