2023-24 Vassar Athletics Scholar-Athlete Award Winner

2023-24: Completed his senior year with a 54-24 record… Went 9-5 at the Drew Invitational #1 with victories over Drew (2-1), Lafayette (2-1), Yeshiva (2-0), and Stevens (3-0)… Went 6-0 in pools and won three direct elimination bouts to place 7th at the NEIFC Big One… Went 9-5 at the Vassar Invitational with victories over Yale (1-1), Haverford (3-0), Lafayette (2-1), and Johns Hopkins (2-1)… Went 10-5 at the NFC Varsity Meet with victories over Boston College (3-0), Brandeis (3-0), Brown (2-1), and SHU (2-1), for which he earned Second Team All-Stars… Went 7-8 at the Sacred Heart Tradition Meet with victories over Sacred Heart (2-1) and NJIT (3-0)… Went 11-0 at the Matt Lampell Invite with victories over West Point (3-0), Binghamton (2-0), Swarthmore (3-0), and RPI (3-0)… Had victories over Yale (3-0) at the Yale Invitational, for which he received Brewer of the Week… Went 5-1 at the George Kolombatovich Historical Meet with victories over NYU (2-1) and Columbia (3-0)… Went 11-2 at the NEIFC Championship, which helped Vassar place 2nd for Top Men’s Foil Squad and 3rd for the Men’s 3-Weapon Team Championship… Placed 26th at the NCAA Northeast Regional.

2022-23: Did not compete

2021-22: Posted the strongest men’s foil record during his first season at 68-21 in foil… Placed 3rd at The Big One… Was undefeated at the Drew Tournament, with victories over Stevens (3-0), Drew (3-0 and 2-0), Rutgers (3-0), Yeshiva (2-0), and the Navy (3-0)… Went 20-2 at the Vassar Invitational with wins over Yeshiva (2-0), Hunter (2-0), Stevens (3-0), Haverford (3-0), Lafayette (3-0), Cornell (2-1), and Drew (2-1)… Went 12-4 at the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invite, beating Drew (2-1), RIT (3-0), Cornell (3-0), and Binghamton (2-1 and 1-0)… Went 12-3 at the Northeast Conference (NFC) Multimeet #2, with victories over Dartmouth (3-0), BC (3-0), Brown (2-1), and Brandeis (3-0)… Went 13-1 at the NFC Multimeet #3, winning against Tufts (3-0), U Mass (3-0), SHU (2-1), UNH (3-0), and BU (2-0)… Earned a spot on the NFC first team… Placed 9th at the New England Intercollegiate Fencing Championships and led the foil squad to a 3rd place finish… Placed 18th at Northeast Regionals to be named to the Division III All-Region Team, and the All-American Division III second team.

2020-21: Season canceled due to COVID-19 ...

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Represented team USA at the 2018 European Cadet foil circuit with 23 countries represented… Placed eighth at the North American Cup National Tournament in 2018… 12^th at the Summer National Championships in 2018… Was ninth at the North American Cup National Tournament in 2017… 19^th in 2017 and 25^th in 2016…. Currently ranks 45^th in junior men’s foil National Rollings Point Standings… Highest Junior men’s foil ranking of 33^rd… Highest Senior men’s foil national ranking of 24^th… Highest Cadet men’s foil ranking of 19^th in the nation.
