Biography
2021-22: Finished his first season with a 34-39 record in foil… Went 7-6 at the Drew Tournament, with wins over Rutgers (2-1) and West Point (3-0)… Went 11-8 at the Vassar Invitational, beating Yeshiva (2-0), Hunter (2-0), Stevens (2-1), Haverford (2-1), and Lafayette (2-1)… Went 9-7 at the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invite, with victories against RIT (3-0), Cornell (3-0), and Binghamton (2-1 and 1-0)… Went 10-3 at the Northeast Conference Multimeet #3, winning against Tufts (2-0), U Mass (3-0), UNH (2-0), and BU (3-0)… Helped the men’s foil squad earn 3rd place at the New England Intercollegiate Fencing Conference Championships… Placed 36th at Northeast Regionals.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Competed in fencing at the Orlando Fencing Academy.
PERSONAL: Parents are Sung and Casey Yim... One sibling, Rachael.
