cross country, indoor and outdoor track at Thornton Academy...Earned third team all-state...All-academic team every year...Named cross country captain junior and senior years and indoor and outdoor captain as a senior...Helped team to outdoor track Class A State Champions senior year...Cross country MVP for two years.
PERSONAL: Parents are Susan and Robert Pierce...Father ran for Indiana University...Sisters Katherine and Hannah ran for Lehigh University and Charlotte ran for Columbia University...Planning to major in women's studies...On decided to chose Vassar, "I knew I wanted a place where I would be welcomed and accepted, intellectually and athletically challenged, and where I could further my social activism. Vassar became my dream school the second I stepped on campus, and I'm so glad I have the privilege of going to this elite college."
