Dan Bozzelli came to Vassar College as an assistant coach in the summer of 2018 with 13 years of basketball coaching experience at a plethora of different experiences, most recently serving as the Director of Basketball Operations at Division I Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY.Â
Prior to EKU, Bozzelli served two years as an assistant coach at DePauw University, serving as the recruiting coordinator as well. From 2012-2015, Bozzelli was an assistant at UAA power University of Rochester, helping the Yellowjackets achieve a No. 1 ranking in the nation in 2013, along with an UAA title. Before his stint at Rochester, Bozzelli was a three-year assistant at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, helping the Golden Flyers to a 2010 Empire 8 championship, while also serving as the Assistant Compliance Director for all sports.Â
Bozzelli has also earned positions at Wilmington University in New Castle, DE, while having a familiarity with the Liberty League with stops at Ithaca College and Rochester Institute of Technology. The coaching veteran has also coached camps at such schools as the University of Notre Dame, Davidson College, Dickinson College, Siena College and RIT.Â
A two-year basketball letter winner at SUNY Cortland, Bozzelli graduated with a degree in physical education in 2005. He has also earned a Masters in Physical Education in 2008, while pursuing post-graduate course work at the University of Rochester.Â
