2021: Solid first season starting 17 of 20 games appeared in… Fourth on the team with 16 points (6 goals, 4 assists)… Scored first-career goal in the season-opener against Smith (9/1)… Recorded the game-winning goal against Montclair State (9/15)… Registered 30 shots with 23 being on goal (.767).

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Played field hockey, basketball, and softball at Clinton High School… As a field hockey forward, was a three-time Section III First-Team All-Star… Three-time All-Mohawk Valley Team Selection… Three-time All Central New York Team Selection... As a basketball point guard, two-time Section III First-Team All-Star… One-time Section III Second-Team All-Star… In softball, two-time Section III First-Team All-Star… Two-year captain of the field hockey and basketball teams… One-year captain of the softball team… Two-time field hockey and basketball MVP… Name softball MVP once… Helped field hockey team to four sectional final appearances… Broke school record for most career goals (82), most goals in a season (26), and most goals in a single game (5)… Member of National Honor Society and National Student Scholar-Athlete.
 
PERSONAL: Parents are Karen and Michael Trunfio… Two siblings in Kylie and Alexis… “chose Vassar for the beautiful campus and just the atmosphere in general. It checked off every mark I had with what I was looking for in a college. I could just picture myself there, and they also have a great biology program!”
