2020: Started all five games... Scooped up six ground balls... Had four caused turnovers... Had a ground ball with three caused turnovers in the season-opener at Montclair State on Feb. 26... Posted two ground balls in a 15-8 win at Mount Saint Mary on Mar. 3... Recorded two ground balls in an 18-7 win over Maritime on Mar. 11...

2019: Started all 14 games he played in… Third for Vassar with 14 caused turnovers… Finished the season with 19 ground balls…Recorded three ground balls against Montclair State (2/27) and SUNY Maritime (3/13).

2018: Started in all 14 games for the Brewers at defense… Had a team-high 12 caused turnovers this season while scooping up 24 ground balls… Had a season best three caused turnovers and four ground balls at No. 19 Ithaca… Also had four ground balls against Swarthmore and at No. 20 RPI.

2017: Vorel became a big part of the man-down defense for the Brewers during his freshman campaign, getting into 12 games...posted six ground balls and two caused turnovers during the season...had a nice start to his career at Drew in the season opener, posted two ground balls and a caused turnover...chalked up two ground balls in a win over Bard College...caused one mistake while picking up a ground ball against Bryn Athyn College March 28. 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was an important part of the defense for the Lakes of Mountain Lakes High School in Mountain Lakes, NJ...was a two-year letter winner and team captain as a senior...also lettered three times in soccer, as well as earning four varsity patches in ice hockey...was voted as a First Team All-Gibbs honoree in 2016, also picking up 2015 First All-NJAC accolades...was a 2016 Group 1 All-State performer, while finding his name on the 2016 MSG Varsity Second Team All-State list...2016 US Lacrosse Academic All-American...2016 Morris County Scholar-Athlete. 

PERSONAL: Child of Stephen and Allison Vorel...has three siblings, Ethan, Elliott and Erica ... Political Science and Economics major.
