Lili Dickey

Dickey joined the Vassar field hockey staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2020. A former standout at Western Connecticut State University, she brings a wealth of field hockey knowledge to the Brewers’ program.

During her career at Western Connecticut, she played central defender, earning the captain’s role on the squad that posted the best record in program history (15-5 overall; 10-2 in the Little East Conference). She was an All-LEC First Team honoree and NFHCA All-Region Second Team selection as a senior, earning All-LEC Second Team honors in 2018. Dickey was also a three-time LEC Defensive Player of the Week.

Dickey also attended Connecticut College for two seasons before enduring a medical redshirt season in 2017. Prior to her collegiate career, Dickey was a standout player at Westbrook High School, where she was a four-time All-Conference selection – including three First Team recognitions. She was also a three-time All-State, two-time New Haven All-Area Team, two-time Hartford All-Area Team, as well as the 2014 SLC MVP. Dickey also earned 2014 Senior All-Star Game MVP honors, as well as being named a 2014 NFHCA Regional All-American.

A 2020 graduate from Western Connecticut State University with a degree in psychology, Dickey is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in School Counseling – also at Western Connecticut State.
