Vassar College Athletics

Kathleen Bulk joined the Vassar College field hockey staff for the her first season in 2014. Bulk came to Vassar after finishing her degree at field hockey powerhouse Messiah College during the summer of 2014. Bulk's responsibilities include primarily working with the Vassar goalkeepers, defense, recruiting and operations. 

Kathleen began playing 10 years ago and immediately fell in love with the sport. Unfortunately, two ACL surgeries prevented her from progressing as she would have liked to.  Through the help of rehabilitation, she was able to continue playing and progressing.  She joined the Messiah College Club Field Hockey Team her freshman year and was a vice-captain her junior year and a co-captain her senior year.  The team qualified for the National Field Hockey League finals Tournament three years during her four years, and faced club teams such as Wake Forest, Duke, UNC, WVU, and University of Virginia.
