2018: Speedy sophomore outfielder had a nice role as a pinch runner and defensive replacement for the Brewers...saw action in 15 games, earning his first collegiate start in a win over Mount Saint Vincent March 24...doubled for his first college hit against St. Lawrence University, driving in a pair of runs...posted his only stolen base of the year against Skidmore College April 28...scored a run at Moravian April 21...made all six plays in the field for VC. 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Attended Fairfield High School in Fairfield, Iowa...was a three-year letter winner as a shortstop for the Trojans, also lettering in track and field in the 400 and 800 meter runs...voted as a team captain in both baseball and track and field...earned All-Southeast Conference accolades in baseball as a junior and senior, also picking up Academic All-District during his junior and senior seasons...was Academic All-State as a senior...Iowa High School State Track and Field qualifier as a sophomore, junior and senior...helped baseball team to a Southeast Conference title three seasons...president of National Honor Society as a senior.

PERSONAL: Parents Lakshmi Martin...has six siblings, Mangala, Madhava, Sunita, Mukund, Lalita and Navin...younger brother Navin is a freshman at Vassar...undeclared major.
