2017: Was named as a team captain as a senior, as he saw action in 27 games while starting 17 times...drove in three runs while score seven runs...walked eight times on the year...also had four appearances on the mound in 2017...was 1-for-3 against Rochester with seven putouts on April 5...didn't make an error in 35 chances. 

2016: Batted .357 for second best on the team with 25 hits over 24 games, 22 starts... Had the highest on-base percentage (.494), the second-highest slugging percentage (.486) and the third-most runs scored (22)... Doubled three times, tripled three times... Walked 11 times... Registered a team-leading eight hit-by-pitches... Posted four multi-hit games... Went 1-for-2 with two runs, two walks and a stolen base against Bard College on 3/30... Went 4-for-5 with two runs and an RBI against Clarkson University on 4/10... Went 3-for-4 with a season-best three runs against West. Conn. St. on 4/17... Went 2-for-3 with two runs and a season-best three RBI, a triple and a HBP against RIT on 4/23... Enjoyed a six-game streak with a least one hit in each... On the mound, posted a 9.00 ERA over four innings of relief work for an 0-0 record... Pitched a scoreless inning against Keene State on 3/16 and another scoreless inning against St. Lawrence University on 3/25... Tossed a season-high two innings, allowing one run on three hits with a strikeout against Bard College on 3/30.

2015: Dealt with arm issues for much of the season, which allowed him to pitch only twice this year...allowed four runs over 2.1 innings on the hill..also got three at-bats as a sophomore, going 1-for-1 against John Jay May 2.  

2014: Was a very valuable member of the squad as a freshman, both on the mound and in the field...led the team in appearances as a pitcher, seeing action in 14 games, all out of the bullpen...had nine scoreless outings, including his last four of the season...posted a 6.75 ERA in 18.2 innings over work...struck out 13 on the year...picked up a save against Medaille College in his first collegiate appearance, going three innings while allowing no earned runs and just two hits...was solid against Mount Saint Mary, going two innings while allowing no runs...also contributed as a hitter, as he got into six games...started against Manhattanville, going 1-for-4 with a run scored...earned his first collegiate hit against Utica College March 17...made all 21 plays that came his way in 2014. 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered two years in baseball at Marian Central Catholic (IL) for head coach Benji Winkelman…named as Baseball Regional Champs in 2011 for the Suburban Christian Conference…recognized as All-Conference, Academic All-Conference and All-Area in 2012…named to Academic All-Conference and earned the Marian Scholar Award in 2013.

PERSONAL: Parents are Robert and Kelly Koscielniak…has one sister, Ellen (21)...listed as an Illinois State Scholar…named to National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society…earned highest student-athlete GPA his senior year….chose Vassar over Washington and Lee University, and Macalester College...majoring in Hispanic studies.
