2018: Had another strong season for the Brewers as a weekend starter, appearing in eight games while starting five times...pitching 28.0 innings, allowing 14 earned runs while striking out 18...had a 4.50 ERA while leading the team with a 4-1 record...went six innings while allowing only two hits, punching out seven St. Lawrence hitters in a 16-2 win for Vassar March 31...worked out of relief at Pomona-Pitzer in an 8-6 win, allowing no runs over 3.1 innings, scattering four hits...earned a win over Lehman College, surrendering two earned runs while striking out six...got the win over Bard College May 6, going six innings while allowing three earned runs.
2017: The sophomore settled in as a weekend option for the Brewers in Liberty League play, having a strong second season...pitched in 10 games in 2017, posting a 3.34 ERA and 1-1 record over 32.1 innings of work...allowed no earned runs over his final five appearances, a stretch of 18.2 innings...picked up his first win of the season against Union College April 15, as he allowed four earned runs over six innings...allowed just 36 hits in 32.1 innings...surrendered just eight extra base hits all season...struck out 27 including back-to-back starts with five against RPI and Bard College...allowed no runs and four hits in 5.1 innings against RPI April 23.
2016: Posted a 2-2 record with a 4.21 ERA over 12 appearances, three starts... Posted second-lowest ERA (4.21), fourth-most strikeouts (30) and the least number of walks (eight) on the team... Pitched a season-high 6.2 innings twice, against RIT on 4/23 and Union College on 5/7... Struck out a season-best seven batters against RIT on 4/23... Picked up first win against RIT on 4/23, allowing three runs on six hits in 9-8 victory... Picked up second win against RPI on 4/30, allowing one run on nine hits through six innings in 5-1 victory... Picked up a save against UW-Stout on 3/19, allowing one hit and no runs over three innings of relief in 13-3 victory.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Named Pitcher of the Year as a senior at Pine Bush HS...was a two-year letter winner for the Bushmen, going 9-3 with a 2.40 ERA through 90 innings...National Honor Society...Advanced Regents Diploma...Top 30 Recoginition...helped team to two OCIAA Division I Championships.
PERSONAL: Son of Kim and Joe Conti...has one brother, Jarid (17)...majoring in biology...chose Vassar over Marist, Fordham, Iona and Union College.
