2015: Finished his career with the Brewers with a solid campaign, batting .270 in 24 games...chalked up five multi-hit games over the last seven contests of the year...posted 17 hits and 11 runs scored as a senior, driving in five runs...against Bard April 25 in game 2, he went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored...was 2-for-4 with two runs against Manhattanvile April 29...posted a 2-for-3 day with two runs scored against John Jay May 2...committed just two errors over his last 14 career games at shortstop...made his only career pitching appearance against RIT April 12, needing one pitch to get one out...Garfinkel will finish seventh all-time in career doubles with 24...12th all-time in hits at Vassar with 112...played in the eighth most games at a Vassar player with 131...started 130 career games, which is sixth all-time. 

2014: Moved to shortstop as a junior and blossomed, as he was only Brewers to start all 33 games at the same position...was tabbed as a All-Liberty League second-teamer after batting .321 with 11 doubles, three triples and a homer...was fifth on the team in batting, and led the team with seven stolen bases...second on the team in slugging percentage, posting a .500 percentage...seventh in the conference in slugging nd doubles...fourth in the Liberty League in triples...second on the team and ninth in the conference in runs scored with 29...posted a career-high four hits against Bard College May 3, going 4-for-6 with four runs scored...had eight multi-hit contests...was 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs against Rochester April 19...posted two runs, a double, triple and two RBI against Union College April 27...had eight games with multiple RBI...had a 12-game stretch in the middle of the season where he committed just one error.

2013: Saw action in 38 of the 39 Brewer contests as a sophomore, starting 37 times...batted .200 as a sophomore, going 29-for-130 on the year...posted three doubles and seven RBI...had six multi-hit contests...chalked up three hits in five at-bats against Sewanee March 16...was two-for-three with two runs scored against St. Lawrence April 15...posted two hits in three at-bats versus Manhattanville May 1, walking twice...committed just six errors all year.

2012: Played in 36 games for the Brewers as a freshman, starting all 36...was an impact player for Vassar as a freshman, posting a .300 average with 22 RBI...finished the season sixth on the team in hitting, tying for second on the squad with nine two-baggers...one of only three players to start every game for VC in 2012...connected for his first collegiate hit against Gallaudet March 12...posted back-to-back two-hit performances against Drew and Fitchburg State March 13 and 14...had a season-best three-hit game against RIT April 7, scoring three times and driving in four...was two-for-two with three runs scored against Union in game one...had only nine hitless games all season.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered three years in baseball at Harvard-Westlake School (CA) for head coach Matt LaCour… 2011 Mission League Champions (first in school history)...earned Second Team All-Mission League Team…named as LA Daily News Player to Watch in 2011…named as team Defensive Player of the Year.

PERSONAL: Parents are Steven and Wendy Garfinkel…has one brother, Jordan (17)...majors in biology and is Pre-Med...chose Vassar over Swarthmore.
