2018: Appeared in 11 games during the 2018 campaign, posting a 1-1 record...worked scoreless frames in six of his appearances, while striking out eight batters in 8.2 innings as a senior...posted two strikeouts in a scoreless inning against Occidental on March 18...on April 7, fanned two of the four batters he faced in a scoreless inning of work against Skidmore...worked a perfect inning against Bard College on May 6...finished his career at Vassar with 35 appearances over 53.2 innings, striking out 31 over that span.Â
2017: DeMild saw action in 10 games as a junior, posting an ERA of 12.00...started the season strong with 3.2 innings of work against Westfield State, allowing just one hit while striking out four...also allowed no runs over 1.1 innings of action against Plattsburgh State April 1...finished the season with 9.0 innings pitched, striking out six batters and allowing seven hits.Â
2016: Liberty League All-Academic Team... Posted 1-2 record with 8.62 ERA over five appearances, three starts... Struck out a season-high three batters against Old Westbury on 4/13... Picked up a win against Bard College on 3/30, allowing two runs on four hits with two strikeouts through four innings of relief in 8-7 victory... Worked 1.1 innings of scoreless ball against RPI on 5/1.
2015: The freshman right-hander got better each outing this season during his rookie campaign...went 1-0 on the season with a 7.52 ERA, appearing in nine games for the Brewers...struck out 12 hitters as a freshman...earned his first collegiate win against the University of Rochester April 19, starting game two of a doubleheader and allowing no earned runs and two hits...worked two innings of scoreless baseball against Clarkson University March 18.Â
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered two years in baseball...lettered and captained four years in hockey under Coach Mark Leonard...named to Northeast Conference All-Star Hockey Team in 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 seasons.
PERSONAL: Parents are Edward and Rose...brother to Marina (20) and Lucas (15)...came to Vassar because it is a "prestigious academic school that allowed me to play baseball as well"...chose Vassar over Bryant University and Quinnipiac University...majoring in math.
