2015 Liberty League All-Academic Team

2015: A team captain as a junior, McCormack was again one of the hardest working members of the team in 2015...played in 22 games as a senior, starting 14 games including nine of the final 10 games...batted .146 as a senior over 48 at-bats...scored five runs and drove in four runs as well...was 2-for-3 against Rochester in game one April 18...scored two runs in a win over John Jay May 2...drove in a pair of runs April 25 against Bard College. 

2014: One of the team members that pulled everything together...total team mentality and hard worker for the Brewers...got into nine games for Vassar, starting in four contests...batted .158 on the year, going 3-for-19...started the season with a hit in his only at-bat against Grinnell College...got the start against Bard College May 3, and was 1-for-5 but gunned down a runner at home in the first inning on a sacrifice fly attempt by the Raptors...was 1-for-3 with a double and sacrifice fly against Bard College May 4.

2013: Saw action in 14 games last year as a sophomore, starting five times...posted three hits and scored four times...drew four walks...had two hits and scored twice against RPI April 7...had a hit and run scored at home against Skidmore in game two April 21.

2012: Opened his career at Vassar with a solid year, hitting .284 with 21 hits in 74 at-bats...started in 21 games, setting action in a total of 27 contests...drove in nine runs and scored 12 times...connected for four doubles...chalked up his first collegiate hit in a March 16 game against Westfield State, going two-for-four...had six multi-hit outings...had a season-best three hits and three RBI against RIT...went two-for-three against Union April 15, driving in three.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered three years in baseball at Nashua South High School (NH) for head coach B.J. Neverett…lettered three years in football for head coach Scott Knight…named to Second Team All-State for football…lettered two years in swimming.

PERSONAL: Parents are Mark and Susan McCormack…has three siblings, Kayla (22), Matt (18) and Jenna (14)...majors in computer science.
