2020: Started six games as a senior… Second on the team with a .450 hitting percentage and 20 at-bats… Led the team with nine hits and three stolen bases… Recorded a hit in six-straight games… Went 2-for-3 against Rivier (2/29) with one run and one walk… Hit a double against Oneonta (3/9) and scored one run… Went 2-for-4 with one triple against Wells (3/10)… Had two hits, one double, two stolen bases, and one run in the game with Cazebovia (3/12).
2019: Started in 14 games and made 28 total appearances… Hit first-career home run against RIT (4/28)… Also had a season-high three hits, four runs, four RBI, and two doubles in the same game… Finished the season with 12 hits, nine runs, 10 RBI, and three doubles… Strong defensive player with a .941 fielding percentage.
2018: Continued to be used a solid defensive outfielder while showing his pop with the bat as well...saw action in 21 games, earning six starts, batting .194 in 31 at-bats...scored five runs and drove in four...was successful on both of his stolen base attempts...posted a pair of two-hit games in 2018...was 2-for-2 with a RBI and double against Rochester April 18...came in off the bench in a must-win game against Bard May 6 and was superb, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored...made all 17 of his plays in the outfield.
2017: The freshman outfielder was strong defensively for VC, getting into 24 games including starting 10 times for Vassar...batted .146 in his first campaign, going 6-for-41 with one double and one RBI...walked five times...was successful on both of his stolen base attempts...helped Vassar win a game against Cairn University, as he drew a throw to allow a runner to score on a double steal.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Earned a pair of varsity letters for the Friars of St. Anthony's High School...named as a junior varsity captain as a sophomore and varsity captain as a senior...earned All-CHSAA as a senior...batted .400 with 25 extra-base hits, 48 RBI, including a .396 senior season with seven doubles...helped his squad to a league runner-up finish as a sophomore and senior...earned Town Scholar Athlete Award, given to one male and female from each school in the town of Huntington with best combination of GPA and athletic ability...St. Bonaventure award winner all four years...graduated 21st in class of 580...All-League Academic as junior and senior...Brother De Paul Costello Award, given to highest GPA in social studies...President of Gift of Life Club, a club started to raise money for life saving heart surgery...National Honor Society member, along with Math Honor Society member...played travel ball for the Long Island Padres and New York Federals.
PERSONAL: Parents Sean and Leslie Levchuck...has one sibling, Cameron (14)...father Sean played collegiate hockey at Stony Brook...planning to major in economics and finance...chose Vassar over Amherst, Wesleyan, Swarthmore and Boston College.
