Taylor Anderson joined the Vassar coaching staff in the spring of 2018. Anderson graduated from nearby New Paltz, where he was a four-year player for the Hawks on the diamond.
A three-year starter behind the plate, he had a career year as a junior, batting .276 with seven doubles and 18 RBIs. Anderson earned SUNYAC Baseball Player of the Week honors during his junior season, and he was also a SUNYAC All-Academic honoree.
An East New Market, MD, native, Anderson serves as the Brewers' recruiting coordinator. He also assists the head coach in developing the hitting philosophy while continuing to research progressions for catchers to improve throwing, footwork and framing.
