Vassar College Athletics

2022-23: As captain and squad leader, closed out his senior year with a 26-28 record while recovering from an injury… Went 4-1 in pools and won two direct elimination bouts to place 15th at the NEIFC Big One… Went 3-9 at the Sacred Heart Traditional Meet with victories over NYU (1-1) and NJIT (2-1)… Went 5-6 at the Cleveland State Invitational with victories over Denison (1-1) and Cleveland State (2-1)… Went 10-5 at the NFC Meet #2 with victories over Tufts (2-0), Drew (3-0), Brandeis (1-1), Brown (3-0), and Boston College (1-1)… Went 5-3 at the NFC Meet #3 with victories over Dartmouth (1-0) and Boston University (3-0)… Had a victory over Columbia (1-2) at the George Kolombatovich Historical Meet… Had two victories over Yale (2-0)… Went 10-3 at the NEIFC Championship, which helped Vassar place 2nd for the Men’s 3-Weapon Team Championship… Placed 34th at the NCAA Northeast Regional.

2021-22: As squad leader, posted a 72-23 record to lead the men’s saber squad… Went 12-3 at the Drew Tournament, including victories over Drew (2-1 and 3-0), Rutgers (3-0), Yeshiva (3-0)… Placed 8th at The Big One… Went 15-5 at the Vassar Invitational, with wins over Yeshiva (1-0), Hunter (1-0), Stevens (2-1), Haverford (2-1), Lafayette (3-0), Cornell (3-0), and Drew (2-1)… Went 16-1 at the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invite, beating Drew (2-1 and 2-0), RIT (3-0), Cornell (3-0), and Binghamton (3-0 and 3-0)… Earned victories over SHU (2-1), Princeton (2-1), and NJIT (2-1) at the Sacred Heart Traditional Multi-Meet… Went 7-5 at the Northeast Conference (NFC) Multimeet #2, winning against Dartmouth (3-0), BC (2-1), and Brown (2-1)… Went 13-0 at the NFC Multimeet #3 with wins against Tufts (2-0), U Mass (3-0), SHU (3-0), UNH (2-0), and BU (3-0)… Placed 9th at the New England Intercollegiate Fencing Conference Championships… Placed 30th at Northeast Regionals.

2020-21: Season canceled due to COVID-19 ...

2019-20: Stellar freshman campaign, amassing a 77-37 sabre record… Started the year going 15-6 at the Vassar Invitational and then was 17-0 at the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invite… Defeated Cornell (2-0), RPI (3-0), Drew (3-0), Binghamton (3-0), RIT (3-0) and Rochester (3-0)… Was nearly perfect at the Drew Tournament, going 17-1… Added eight wins at the Sacred Heart Traditional Meet… Went 5-2 at the Northeast Multi-Meet #3… Qualified for the NCAA Northeast Regional and placed 28^th.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was team captain for fencing both his junior and senior years...lettered in both track and cross country at Half Hollow Hills High School...was a captain for cross country his senior year.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in mathematics...chose Vassar because he loved the atmosphere and beauty of the campus.
