2020: Season canceled due to COVID-19 ...
2019: Liberty League All-Academic selection…had a standout season as a key offensive player for the Brewers, playing in all 19 games and starting 10 for a total of 748 minutes on the field...scored six goals and two assists for a total of 14 points...had 20 shots with 16 landing on goal...had three game winning goals...scored the game winning goal against Montclair State on September 18 to get the 1-0 win.
2018: Continued her sophomore campaign as part of the offensive unit, playing in all 20 games…registered four goals, one being game winning…scored in the Liberty League semi-final against RPI…first on the team with a .571 shot percentage.
2017: Appeared in 14 games…tallied 6 shots, 4 of which were on goal…posted her first career goal against Western Connecticut, contributing to a 11-1 victory for VC…notched her second goal against RPI to help the brewers to a 5-1 win...finished the season with a team high 0.333 shot percentage.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Amell was a four-year varsity letter winner on the hockey field for the Wyverns of Kingswood Oxford School...also earned four letters on the swimming team, while chalking up four varsity seasons as a softball player...was named as a co-captain for Kingswood as a senior, also earning the distinction for her swim and softball teams...was named as the team MVP as a junior and senior...earned WNEPSFHA League All-Star honors during the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Mary Martin and Jeffrey Amell...has one brother, James ...mother Mary was a rower at Yale University...grandmother Grace Stephenson Martin graduated from Vassar, Class of 1955.
